Astral Tips.

Hello all!

A user was asking about an astral experience so I posted some basic tips that have worked for me. I though I would repost them here, and maybe we could do a webinar that talks about this subject? This is an important skill for us receiving messages or using this realm to communicate through. I’m not a SUPER adept but I could teach you all what I know.

This is my experience with the astral- it’s like a muscle that gets stronger with use. Usually, the dream and the astral meet because we fall asleep or in and out of sleep so that it is hard to distinguish between the two. How about trying to practice leaving your body- and NOT falling asleep during or afterwards. Again, it is like a muscle and you need to exercise, a lot!

1. Sit in a comfortable chair, or lying down. The more relaxed and evenly distributed the energy from your centers is the better. If you have stuck energy in any of those centers it could cause problems with directing the energy of your astral body as a whole. (there is a great book called ASTRAL DYNAMICS which give more detailed and specific exercises, in this the author explains that energy in the reproductive area can be the most distracting FYI)

2. An important thing to know is that astral logic is different than physical logic- but once in your etheric body takes over it is very wise and knows what to do and how to function in this world. Relax and trust! You are safe!

3. So now, that your body has relaxed and you have put the intention forth to traverse in this realm, you may feel odd energetic rushes and your awareness shifts to the etheric plane. Sometimes I hear loud noises like crashing and banging and laughing or other astral wildlife –  I know my body is telling me this is a good time to exit and the window is opening.

4. It may seem surreal or odd to be looking at your own room or your own self (thus is called real time astral when you are close to your physical body. It may be uncomfortable to be near your body because if you are close it will try to pull you back in, and if you are still beginning that can be annoying- so I use the ROPE PULL METHOD. It’s like you are in gym class but instead of climbing to the roof of the gymnasium you are symbolically pulling yourself up and away from your body.

5. I look for  a window and intend myself outside. Now it is much easier and lighter the further you are from your body.

6. Hold your intention for the place or the being you would like to speak with as that will be the only thing to keep you from wandering into this vast multi-layered realm.

7. The “library” is the easiest place for me to get to. The living library the akashic library it is called.

8. Be courteous and kind traveling through the homes of others and remember if anything bothers you- demand that the entity speaks it’s name to you usually their bark is bigger than their bite- if you end up in one of the lower realms you may attract attention so be courteous and smart.

    • Great idea max. Everyone can share ideas. I astral projected twice but didn’t leave my room when I first started to meditate and haven’t really meditated too much since.(health reasons)So it would be nice to know exactly. I have a good idea but more knowledge is great! I do know I felt fantastic after.

  2. today i was meditating without guided astral travel and i was trying to astral travel, but then i saw the colors of the charka bases, it started with red, then went up to orange. i think that i must first completely open my charka pools before i can astral travel. what are your thoughts on this?

    • If one or more energy center are spinning differently, or perhaps too open,( or too closed) it can make things more difficult. Only you know your own self, but I would say your energetic ‘pools don’t have to be completely open, just smooth and balanced. Visualize a balanced lucid , clear, prismatic light in your mind. Once centered and balanced your body will become extremely relaxed. Keep planting the thought seed: I will have an astral experience and I will remember it. Once you feel yourself in that in between state, keep relaxed, but make the effort to pull yourself up. up, out of yourself. Like climbing a rope. You may hear loud sounds like wind ect, ignore this and keep willing your etheric body up and away. The further from your physical body the better. LOOK at your hands, this will will ground you and remind you that you are in control and that you don’t have to fall asleep or start dreaming.
      Know and trust that your etheric body is a part of you that knows how to be in this realm even if you appear to be rusty at first- after all you cannot learn, to ride a bike after one try can you?

  3. ok, i am trying every night to astral travel. i will not stop till i get to the astral realm. i am going to get there.

    • there is a little secret i would like to share with you. when you think you go there. you already there and back. it so quickly that we dont remember journey. what you trying to do it’s tune in to this state of remembering. no need go anywhere.

      and it’s similar with Akashic Records – this is recognizing that the records don’t outside of you, that you are the records. So that, if you become the records, you will know what you ned to know.

  4. Sounds like you were getting close, the ‘energetic rushes” that happen beforehand can be weird feeling but, stick with it, it will get less weird over time.
    Also, sometimes you get to the point where you are close then… nothing happenes. or so it seems. it’s important to note that having a conscious exit will mean having two sets of differing memories for the same period in time. This is difficult to get used to also. The key to remembering or downloading information back into your conscious memory is just practice and more practice I think, but Sometimes I will remember things a few a days later or in bits ad pieces. Try writing everything down too- even things that seem pointless or mundane sometime they will make the picture more clear. Oftentimes symbols or archetypes are used to convey a meaning as well.

  5. last night i almost went into my astral state, my body was numb and heavy, also i felt like i was floating. my mind was also trying to separate from my body.
