For Users – Webinar Etiquette
Webinar Etiquette
- If this is your first time at our website we recommend you watch some of our video before you join a webinar this way you can familiarize yourself with our format and what we are about .
- Please keep your microphone off when not in use.
- Once you have asked a question please allow the rest of the group to go before you ask another personal question.
- If you have a lot of personal question we recommend scheduling a session with a Jim.
- Lets remember that the channeler can only channel for one hour or less so keeping your question short and to the point helps keep things moving along.
- Writing your question beforehand helps clear your thoughts.
- Restrain from playing copyrighted music.
- We request that you turn on Google hangouts chat so that other individuals not in the webinar interact with you.
- If you are done asking questions check to see if there are others in the Google hangout chat that want to come in to allow room.
- Discussions after the channeler is done are welcomed & we suggest finding out the perspective they experienced during the session.
- Please be mindful of your language, this allows us to not have to restraint the viewer’s age.
- During discussion time allow others to speak, some members are shy and if not given the chance they don’t speak so let’s try to be mindful of that.
- Be diplomatic and courteous. Prompt others to speak first. If misunderstood, try to rephrase what you say in a different way or give a specific example.
- Try to bring up topics which are important for a wider audience.
- Show your face when appropriate.
- Pay attention to the status of the broadcast: OFF AIR vs LIVE in the top right corner. Keep in mind that the participants may record even if the event is off air.
- If this is your first time at the website we recommend you watch some of our video before you join a webinar this way you can familiarize yourself with our format and what we are about .
- Most importantly have fun! Namaste!

Another thing: many users point the camera too high so the bottom part of their face is covered by the row of avatars.
Adjust your camera so all can see you.

was aamzing to hear Mary doing here channeling!!! if your body moves alot with the process then a headset or ext mic would really come in useful
the audio is most important for me and in this day and age unlike 30 years ago a headset cost less than food!
also i really do admire all the people who channel using english but its not their mother tongue
my your adventures bring u light so we can reflect it back x

Thanks to Sephira’s prompt: shirts are required. If it is too hot, turn off your camera or show your head only.

I suggest have a second hangout for people who didn’t make it to the first one…
Connect the two via chat on skype or google +…

yes i sure that there is a way we can make this work, might take up and extra place but two accounts for one person could be present in both rooms to connect to the main channeling room

Thanks. Here is a bit more : Be diplomatic and courteous. Prompt others to speak first. If misunderstood, try to rephrase what you say in a different way or give a specific example. Bring up topics which are important for a wider audience. Show your face when appropriate. Don’t show your camera if you are distracted or bored. Pay attention to the status of the broadcast: OFF AIR vs LIVE in the top right corner. Keep in mind that the participants may record even if the event is off air.
