For Users – Ways to Join Webinars
I have watched many of these now. The same people are there every week. Is there a fixed audience? Is there an application or qualification to get in?
The trick is to catch the participation link at the first minute of the webinar. Usually posted plus minus 3 minutes. There is a limit of 10 total. Unfortunately, this is how hangouts work, there is no way to reserve the space. If you see that there is less than 10 people, jump in!
How about suggesting to the people who come every week to wait 15 minutes before they go in to let others in first. That would be fairer to new people who want to get in than just saying tuff luck bud if you’re not faster than the others.
I am not sure…. I actually like how it is now… I need a good audience for to produce a good show – the audience which asks smart questions, who shows their faces, mutes their mics and turns off their cameras when stepping away or getting bored. Also my regulars are reading the questions from the audience and set up a line – so there is no delays – it is very nice to have an audience which is coherent. Newcomers are welcome, there are times when there are empty spaces, we are not always filled up. Just be there 5 min before the webinar and keep refreshing the invitations screen every half minute. You can do this while doing something else… Also get into our chats on Skype and Google plus and integrate into our community – it is open and easy.
