if we have to email to meet an alien then they must not be much more advanced than we are or are

They are advanced in many ways, but it is hard for them to understand humans. There are not many aliens on Earth mission, their attention is limited, they can not listen to everyone. They actually have trouble reading thoughts of most of the humans. So emails work pretty well. They certainly don’t need a password to access any email, but they need to know where to look.

People like to stay anonymous mostly to keep their jobs.

ive met ET’s before and ive never had to email anyone to meet them.

That is true, some people can invite ET’s and they come. But there are many different kinds of ETs. These specific ones also can speak to telepaths but can not read minds of most of the humans. That is what they clearly say. 

we will be fine here, itll take a little more time but we will be fine. no doom and gloom. no hellfire. no mass destruction. no mass die-offs.

I also was thinking this until very recently. Now I am told otherwise and I respect the source much.
