Red . . . By Hani Murad
———————————-
They know themselves . . . they know their destiny . . . and they know when it ends.
It
ends when the smile on their faces draws a point at the end of the
line; in the last chapter of their life book . . . naming the book: The
Saved Smile!
The color of their sky is the color of sacrifice . . . not dark, nor bright.
In
their talkative eyes you see the universe with indistinct stars . . .
stars waiting for their next predestined move to shine again.
They
know the shadow of destiny will never leave them . . . therefore; they
built a ship without a canvas in the middle of a cursed dessert . . . to
ride whenever they desire escaping.
In death they find life . . . and they live for a dying dream.
Nonetheless, with every blowing wind they still wonder: who they are!
