Positions and descriptions-Part 2

Hi everyone,

Adding to Max’s first post on this topic, the organizing committee, as it stands now, came up with categories or committees, that everyone would have the choice to join if you wanted to, as a way to help Human Colony overall, and as a way to really enjoy yourself while you’re doing that! 🙂

Feel free to contact the coordinators (we will have more info on that soon), or suggest new committees we have not thought of yet! Many of these committees are going to overlap, which provides wonderful chances for really good interpersonal communication. 🙂

Max already outlined the Broadcast and Welcoming committee and a few others.  I will repost his info here as well:

Broadcasting coordinator: 

  1. Form the broadcasting team.
  2. Help the growth of our webinars.
  3. Schedule events.
  4. Promote spontaneous events and help members to find the events.
  5. Keep an eye on the quality.
  6. You don’t have to be a tech geek, we will help you learn.

Welcome coordinator:

  1. Form the welcome team.
  2. Help the growth of the community.
  3. Answer to new arriving people on the site, by email and other means. Welcome them, help them to integrate

Some other committee ideas which came up:

Public Relations, or Reaching out team, as Max named it.

(Reaching out team: Elle, Fluffie and others. We need to define the coordinator (Elle?).

1. Reaching out to the media about what we do.

2. Writing radio stations and other public avenues, for interviews with us.

3. Making friends with other similar websites and networking with them.

4.  Social Media.(Rowie and Sabrina have set up our Facebook page)

 

Education-I am planning to head this committee up but will welcome lots of co-creative assistance 🙂

1. Spiritual education on:

-meditation, grounding, chakras, Light worker training. etc.

2. Online workshops with the above mentioned themes and more. Language gyms…though as you see, the categories are going to overlap…which is no problem.

3- Language gyms and hosting them.

4.Transcribi​ng our channeled videos. (Laura and Liney have been doing this until now).

Channeling: Jim Charles is going to head up this team.

1 Function not totally defined as yet. This overlaps with Language gyms as well, which are being coordinated by different people..including Fanzy and Sabrina.

Treasury- not yet defined

Secretary-  Sabrina.

Technical Team-Video editors:  Slava, (Laura and Justin helped in the past) – more video editors invited.

ExoWikiDev project:  Peter coordinates.

  2. Thanks, I went to Edit and assigned categories to this post: Ground team and Announcements.
    I suggest to all organizers to use these categories as needed. Announcements places the post to the box on the right. Ground team – is a category for the self organizing down here. There is also a category Site – for site improvements.

  3. Some very nice ideas here, Seems that things are taking form 🙂
    I would love to help in any way with welcoming team as I have a few ideas that may be of benefit, possibly educating team as well.
