Ideas on how to self-organize

Here are some thoughts and ideas about how to self-organize.

Elections would be handy so we become elected representatives of the civilization. This gives us more protection and responsibility.

I expect that we will modify our structures frequently maybe every couple weeks for the initial period so we could build an effective organization.

As I mentioned, we will invite extraterrestrials and humans from the Colonies to participate in our committees.

The first committee should be an organizing committee, it will outline the future structures and activities.

From the bigger initial committee we will crystallize smaller ones for specific purposes

Here is the scheme I propose:

  1. We will invite people to self nominate for the organizing committee. If someone wishes to nominate someone else, just talk to them and ask them to self-nominate.
  2. Size of the committee. Nick suggested the size of the committee to be 9. James of the colonies mentioned 4 as a core. We should see how many will volunteer and decide then.
  3. Then everyone votes for candidatures. Every site member could vote say for 5 candidates.
  4. The committee is formed. It will create other committees, invite volunteers and organize future elections.

Each interest group will be big and its committee will be its organizing core.

Tentative future committees and interest groups:

  1. Organizing: organizing the work, connecting members, welcoming new members, inviting initiatives, answering questions, organizing.
  2. Telepathic: Developing the skills in galactic languages, channeling and telepathy
  3. Diplomatic: Developing the content of the communication with the colonies, with the galactic friends, proposals for the colonies and for the humanity
  4. Video: Setting up Hangouts, compiling and transcribing videos
  5. Site: Site administration
  6. Outreach: Outreach to lightworkers, spreading the word.
  7. Financial: Money and other material resources, inviting donations.

These are tentative, lets discuss. There is clearly an overlap in people and functions. Not all people will be able to commit to committee work: many will wish to contribute but not to be organizing. So I imagine each committee to be a small group of organizers who reach out and invite help from others outside of the committee. So each committee would be a center of a larger group of people who wish to be part of the activity.

To clarify the confusion in terms: Although we have a name humancolony.org and likely our organization will be called HumanColony.org, we are not a human colony. We are a ground team. We carry the name of humancolony, because we started the human colonies in space , volunteered to go there and communicate with them. But we are here, and here we are a ground team, a grassroots lightworkers community. For internal discussions, I propose to call ourselves Hucolo and use the term human colonies for the colonies outside of our world. The colony by definition is something outside of this world, like the colonies were in the colonial period. We can not name our organization the “ground team” because the name is already taken, but Hucolo is unique and good, I suggest using it for the organization. Unless you come up with a better name.

 

Slava and other admins, could you figure a way to automate self-nominations and elections? so people could do all while being logged in on the site? I know there are many outside tools, but it would be convenient for people to be on the site. I think we could do elections and polls often. Even committees could use polls for their decisions.

  1. I think the name Human Colony is very appropriate looked at in another way; we are humans, here on earth, a colony of beings formed by thousands of years of DNA adjustments by other races. The name is unique and a good description.

    An important early step for any organization is a mission statement. Who are we, what do we want and where are we going? Without these guidelines (and boundaries) for where HC is headed, we could get off track really fast. These are huge, previously unexplored territories for a group to try to represent so some structure will keep us focused and more productive. Goals can always be adjusted later as events unfold.

    A main goal to me is how to help prepare the masses for first contact. This seems the best way for us to serve humanity’s most immediate needs. Though most people believe there are ET’s, it’s abstract to them and there would be huge panic and unrest if this is not done well. I’d suggest creating videos to help get people up to speed on what’s happening and what is all means. We need to convey that this is ultimately about ascension and a better life for us all — but there will be bumps in the road for sure. We have the people and archives of channelings to get out a good series of messages for this.
